Client a leading designer and manufacturer of RF coaxial cable assemblies, connectors, and passive components serving the defense, space, and telecom industries. As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery. Your primary objectives will be to maintain quality, reduce lead times, improve on-time delivery metrics, and enhance overall production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of production operators and support
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous
2. Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing lead times. Short lead times are a key success factor.
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization to improve production
3. Inventory Management:
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize excess and obsolete
- Implement just-in-time (JIT) principles to streamline inventory
4. Process Improvement:
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the manufacturing
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste and improve
5. Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures to reduce defects and
- Work within an ISO-9001 and AS9100
6. Communications and Reporting:
- Daily meetings with Sales to review open orders, late orders, delivery time modifications, and customer priorities.
- Daily meetings with Purchasing to review parts availability and
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead times, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain system generated reports, work with Quality for monthly KPI’s.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in manufacturing management within the electronic components
- Experience with ISO-9001, AS9100
- Strong leadership and team-building
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and best
- Experience with Microsoft
- Proficiency in using ERP and production planning software, NetSuite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma
- Strong communication and interpersonal
