About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced sales professional with deep industry knowledge to join our team. This role will leverage your existing relationships to develop and expand our customer base within the industrial RF power market, specifically targeting applications requiring expendables and parts for:
• Industrial RF heating, drying, tempering, and sterilization (CW Magnetron Tubes / Klystrons)
• RF heat sealing
• Plasma generation (CVD Manufacturing)
• Broadcast/communication (Commercial/Consumer)
• Medical Imaging / LINAC
• Radar and missile defense (TWTs)
• Semiconductor wafer fabrication (RF amplifiers)
• Elemental Analysis
• Co2 Laser Expendables / End Stage Tubes
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of industrial magnetrons, klystrons, and legacy RF power grid devices, including legacy power tube devices, capacitors, and vacuum relays.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively prospect for new and inactive customers within target industrial markets, following a structured lead generation approach.
• Proactively contact existing and potential customers.
• Maintain OEM accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product Management on defined projects and initiatives.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including email and other promotional activities, in coordination with Marketing and Product Management.
• Drive account development, sales growth, and profitability.
• Promote associated selling to maximize revenue at key accounts.
• Process RFPs, quotes, and orders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, potentially including regular field visits and communication with executive-level contacts.
• Coordinate activities with customer service, product managers, purchasing, and credit departments.
• Analyze sales performance and customer activity against forecasts, quotas, and potential.
• Gather market intelligence regarding product, pricing, and competition for review with Product Management, Purchasing, and superiors.
• Prepare and submit required reports, projections, and budgets.
• Serve as the first point of contact for technical requests, collaborating with Product Management Engineers to support customers.
• Contribute to the overall success of our sales and marketing initiatives.
